Minnesota Swarm Announce First Round Playoff Date

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announced that the Minnesota Swarm's West Division Semifinal contest against the Colorado Mammoth will be played on Saturday, May 5 at 6:30 p.m. CT on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center.

CBS Sports Network will broadcast the Swarm-Mammoth contest for the second straight week in high definition to a national TV audience. Minnesota (8-7) hosts the Mammoth (11-4) on CBS Sports Network this Saturday, April 28 at Treasure Island Field during the final week of the 2012 NLL regular season. Faceoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CT.

Minnesota enters the playoffs as the No. 3 seed in the West, while Colorado is No. 2. Next Saturday's meeting will be the first ever playoff contest between the two teams.
