Miners Announce Game Times for First Round of ABL Playoffs

PALMER, Alaska - After earning the right to host the first round of the Alaska Baseball League (ABL) playoffs, the Mat-Su Miners announced start times for the opening series beginning on Thursday .
Mat-Su hosts a semifinals series that kicks off with a 6 p.m. matchup on Thursday at Hermon Brothers Field, although an opponent has not been determined. The series continues with a second game at 2 p.m. on Friday at the same location.
If the series is tied 1-1, a third meeting would determine which team advances to the finals. The potential third game would be held at 6 p.m. on Friday.
All playoff games are nine innings in length, with seeding yet to be determined.
