
Milwaukee's Everett Voted Week 8 National Guard MVP

CHICAGO - Milwaukee Mustangs WR/LB MARCUS EVERETT has been named National Guard MVP of the Week for his performance in Week 8 of the 2012 AFL season, as voted on by fans.
Everett (6-1, 200, UCLA) received 80 percent of the fans' votes on ArenaFootball.com after playing the entire game at Jack linebacker and receiver for the Mustangs last week. Everett caught five passes for 67 yards and four touchdowns in the team's 61-58 loss to the Utah Blaze.
Other candidates for the award included Tampa Bay Storm WR Chandler Williams and Cleveland Gladiators WR Dominick Goodman.
The Mustangs (2-4) travel to Philadelphia on Saturday night for a meeting the Soul (6-1). The game can be seen on Ustream's "AFL Live" Viewer. Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m. ET.
