(August 25, 2009 Manchester, NH): The Manchester Millrats made a strong showing at the 2nd annual Louis Saunders Memorial Basketball Tournament at Madison Park High School in Roxbury this past weekend. The game videos are now online at :

In the tournament semifinals, the Millrats found themselves facing a very tough opponent. Team Unknowns' roster featured Glen "Big Baby" Davis of the Boston Celtics, 7'1 former Utah Jazz center Paul Grant, Rochester Razorshark guard Steve Hailey, overseas guard Courtney Eldridge (Poland), and Memphis grad Antonio Anderson - brother of Millrat guard Anthony Anderson. The Millrats hung tough sending plenty of big bodies at Glen Davis in 6'8 Hazelton, 6'9 Ocitti, and 6'11 Wane while the shot blocking 7' Gamble protected the basket. The strategy worked as Davis, although very effective, was forced to work for everything he got.
The game went back and forth and after 2 overtimes the Millrats prevailed 84-79.
