
Millrats Roll Over Blizzard

February 24, 2008 Framingham, MA: The Manchester Millrats rolled over the host Boston Blizzard 153-117 at Framingham State College.
The Millrats established an early double digit lead, which was extended to 95-76 at the half. Midway through the second half, Manchester's starters rested while the bench carried them to the win.
Starters Anthony Anderson, PJ Young, and Cedric McGinnis scored 22, 24, and 21 points respectively, mostly through three quarters. Reserve guard Chris Burns scored 15 points in the fourth quarter on five three pointers, while swingman Eric Downie scored 20 on a variety of slam dunks and outside shots.
The win is Manchester's fifth in a row, and the tenth in the last eleven games. The Millrats improve to 23-10 on the season while Boston drops to 8-17.
On Wednesday they depart on a two week road trip that includes games in the Bahamas, New Jersey, and Singapore.
