Millrats Face Blizzard at Home and Away This Weekend

Manchester, New Hampshire: The Manchester Millrats face the Boston Blizzard in a home and away series this weekend. On Saturday at 7:00 pm the Millrats play Boston at Framingham State College, and then return to Southern New Hampshire on Sunday to host the Blizzard at 4:35 pm.
The Blizzard are responsible for one of the Millrats two home losses, having edged them 130-127 on December 22nd, in a high scoring affair. Manchester will be looking to extend their winning streak to four games this weekend.
The Millrats are led by former UMass Minuteman Anthony Anderson's 21.9 points per game and 2007 ABA All Star Rob Sanders' 17.9 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. Former Central High School stars PJ Young and David Cooper add 9.5 and 8.2 points per game respectively.
Millrats GM Ian McCarthy has been busy the last few weeks retooling the team after injuries, altercations, and overseas leagues have taken their toll. This weekend's games will feature new additions 6'5 guard Eric Downie (Salem State), 6'6 forward Richmond Pittman Jr (Central Connecticut State), and 6'9 forward/center Ronald Wright (Daeman College). Also in uniform will be recent additions point guard Al Stewart, 6'8 forward Charles Mason, 6'11 center Mike Williams, and Merrimack High School product Chris Burns.
The Manchester Millrats encourage all their fans and fans of exciting, fast paced basketball to come out and support your hometown team.
Tickets are just $9.75 for adults and $6.75 for kids 17 and under. All SNHU students and faculty get in FREE with a valid school ID.
