Millrats Announce First Ever Tryout

August 30, 2007 Manchester, New Hampshire: The Manchester Millrats of the American Basketball Association (ABA announce their first ever tryout camp to be held at the SportsZone athletic complex in Derry, NH on Saturday September 22nd.

The Manchester, NH franchise is inviting all basketball prospects from the region, and around the country, to show what they've got at our 2007 Manchester Millrats Open Tryout Camp beginning at noon on Saturday September 22nd.
The first step is to register by clicking on the "Registration" page on www.manchestermillrats.com and submitting your information. The registration fee is 65.00 if you are pre-registered, or 85.00 at the door, and the pre-registration period ends on Thursday September 20th at midnight. The camp will be a one day event that is hosted by the SportsZone at 7 âA' Street in Derry, New Hampshire (www.nhsportszone.com). The camp sessions will be videotaped, and each participant will receive a camp jersey, and a written evaluation. In addition, the attendance list will be sent to Eurobasket.
Once your application has been confirmed and you have registered, you will need to arrive in time to hit the court at noon sharp. So give yourself 30-45 minutes lead time to warm up and stretch. The camp will conclude around 5:00 p.m. Derry is convenient from Boston Logan International Airport as well as Manchester-Boston Airport (which Southwest Air services). The team is working with area hotels to achieve a discounted group which will be made available to you upon registering.
Members of the media or interested public are invited to attend and watch the camp. Following the camp, the Millrats will select a group of players from the Open Tryout Camp to attend a Veteran's Camp in October.
The Millrats inaugural season home opener is scheduled for Sunday November 11 at 4:05 p.m. versus the Boston United Eagles at the Fieldhouse on the campus of Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU).
