Mill Rats Set for PBL Draft on Thursday

(Saint John, NB): The Saint John Mill Rats are prepared for the upcoming Premier Basketball League Draft to be held on Thursday October 28th at Sox Park at the U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago. Representing the Mill Rats organization at the draft will be Mill Rats President and General Manager Ian McCarthy, and newly-named Head Coach Jaren Jackson
The draft will stream at 8 PM Central Time on Thursday October 28th from Sox Park at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago on www.atsportstv.net.
The Mill Rats hold the 4th pick in the first round and the 7th pick of the second round (16th overall).

"We are excited about the available prospects in this years draft. We are going to be looking for the best available players, and hopefully they will bring some athleticism and intangibles to the table," explained Coach Jackson.

The Mill Rats will be hosting their first ever Open Tryout Camp in Saint John on November 6th at Simonds High School from noon to 6pm. The Mill Rats also introduced a new FLEX ticket plan called Bogo Packs. The Bogo Packs are essentially 3 lower bowl tickets for $40.68 (including HST), the buyer then gets an additional 4 lower bowl coupons that are also buy-one-get-one free, along with a 15% discount card for Mill Rats merchandise. The Bogo Pack coupons are redeemable at the Harbour Station box office at any game, and tickets are issued on a best available, first-come first serve basis.
The Mill Rats are a fourth year professional basketball franchise based in Saint John, New Brunswick (Canada). This season will be their first in Saint John where they will play their home games at the 6,600 seat Harbour Station arena. The Mill Rats are a member of the Premier Basketball League.
