
Mill Rats Fall to Defending Champs on the Road

The Saint John Mill Rats fell to the defending champion Lawton-Fort Cavalry 117-94 at the Great Plains Coliseum.
Lawton opened with a strong 27-20 first quarter, and blew open the game in the second quarter to lead 70-45 at the half.
Marc Egerson led the Mill Rats with 19 points, Anthony Anderson added 15, and Jeff Ferguson scored 14 points while hauling down 8 rebounds. Shaun Foutain led the Cavalry with 18 points off the bench.
The Mill Rats are back in action at home on Friday against Rochester RazorSharks at Harbour Station for a 7pm tip.
