The Manchester Millrats will be looking to bounce back this weekend with a double-header homestand on Saturday and Sunday nights. On Saturday at 7:00PM, the Millrats will play host to the Rochester RazorSharks, who are led by former Oyster River (N.H.) High School star, Keith Friel. On Sunday also at 7:00PM, the Quebec Kebs will also pay a visit to the Fieldhouse on the campus of Southern New Hampshire University.

Saturday is 'Civil Servants' Night at the Millrats game. All city and state employees will be admitted for $1.00 with a valid ID. The first 25 that show up will be upgraded to VIP Courtside seating.

On Sunday, the theme is 'Veterans and Military Night', and all Veterans and Active Military personnel will be admitted for $1.00 with valid ID.

The first 25 that show up will be upgraded to VIP Courtside seating.

"Anytime we can pay tribute to those that serve us in our cities, as well as those serving in the Armed Forces, it's something small that we want to give back," stated Millrats co-owner David Cooper.

The Millrats (1-2) will certainly welcome the familiar confines of the Fieldhouse, after logging a grueling five-day road trip that took them to Puerto Rico and Oklahoma, and saw them hang with, but come up short against, two of the league's top teams. They dropped close games against the Puerto Rico Capitanes 116-104, and the Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry 109-98.

But being at home doesn't mean the basketball part gets any easier! Rochester (2-0) is the two time defending PBL Champion, and they are led by last year's PBL MVP Keith Friel. The Quebec Kebs recently added 2008 PBL MVP Jeremy Bell to their roster.

"We know that road wins are hard to come by in this league this season, because all of the teams are so talented, so we need to come out strong and protect our homecourt," explained Millrats Head Coach Heath Teixeira. "Rochester is a very well coached team, and Quebec is dangerous as well."

The Millrats are led by former UMass point guard Anthony Anderson, who is 2nd in the PBL in scoring with a 24.0 average. Dwight Brewington is averaging 16 points and 5.5 assists per game, while big man Stanley Ocitti is contributing 15.3 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.

Tickets are available online at www.millrats.com or at the door. Doors open 1 hour prior to tip off.
