Meet the Lugnuts this Tuesday

LANSING - The Lansing Lugnuts will hold their annual "Meet the Team" event this Tuesday, April 1st. This will be the only time that fans will have the opportunity to meet this year's club before they take the field on Opening Day.
"This event is always a fun way to kick-off our season," Lugnuts General Manager Patrick Day said. "It's a great opportunity for fans to get up close and personal with players in a relaxed setting and to grab a few autographs too!"
The ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will feature a highlight video from 2007, the unveiling of the new 2008 Lugnuts introduction video, a slide show with images from last season, and the introduction of each individual player and coach to the city.
Prior to ceremony, Lugnuts Diamond Club members are invited to attend a special "pre-party" where they will have the first chance to meet the team in a private room. The pre-party will begin at 6:00 p.m.
"We want everyone that make it out to join us in welcoming this year's crop of Lugnuts to the capital city," Day said.
This year's "Meet the Team" event will take place at the Holiday Inn South, located at 6820 S. Cedar Street in Lansing. The Lugnuts will then open the season on the road in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Thursday, April 3rd. Lansing will play its first home game of the season on Monday, April 7th.
