TAMPA BAY - Storm quarterback Adrian McPherson was honored for his record-breaking performance versus the San Jose SaberCats this past Friday Night. McPherson earned the AFL Highlight of the Week.
AFL HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK:
McPherson (6-foot-4, 225, Florida State) had a record-breaking night versus the San Jose SaberCats. He set a new single-season AFL record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback, recording his 23rd of the season. The 23 rushing touchdowns ties the Storm franchise record, set by Torrance Marshall in 2008, for rushing touchdowns by a player in a single season. McPherson is averaging 2.9 rushing touchdowns per game this season.
