FOLLOWING a weekend when he powered his World Bowl-bound team to the top of the NFLEL standings and took over as the league's leading rusher, ERIC McCOO, of the Berlin Thunder, has been named Offensive Player of the Week.

Other stars of Week 8 to collect awards were Cologne Centurions defensive end FELIPE CLAYBROOKS, Scottish Claymores kicker ROB HART and Claymores wide receiver SCOTT McCREADY, who was honoured for the third time this season.

Barefoot kicker Hart, who has spent the past two NFL seasons in training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2002) and Miami Dolphins (2003), was named Special Teams Player of Week 8 after he kicked a game-winning 43-yard field goal during Scotland's 19-17 victory over the Admirals in Amsterdam.

McCready's other Player of the Week awards came in Weeks 1 and 7.
