MATCH STORY: SEA SALISH DERBY
Head coach Martin Nash's Vancouver FC will take on Pacific FC at home in yet another sea salish derby. The Eagles will look to continue their momentum as they look to keep climbing up the standings with a win in front of their home supporters. With the Eagles coming off of a 1-0 win against league leaders Forge FC, this match could push VFC even further up as they look to continue their playoff push.
KEY PLAYERS:
Vancouver FC continue to build momentum as the squad grows together and gains confidence with each performance. The Eagles will look to steal the show at home for what promises to be an exciting matchup. With competition continuing to rise and the group continuing its incredible run, Vancouver FC are eager to deliver another strong performance.
Lys Mousset: In the past few games Lys has really got his season going scoring goals and being a huge part of VFC's recent success. His hold up play and eye for goal has taken VFC's attack to another level, and there is still plenty of time in the season to continue to grow.
Damiano Pecile: Pecile has had a very impressive few stretch of games, scoring 3 and assisting 1 in his past 4 games. His ability to transition play in the midfield and join the attack to create scoring opportunities give VFC the edge they've needed down the stretch this season.
Callum Irving: Captain Callum has remained a huge part of this Vancouver FC team, coming up big for them when it truly matters. Earning yet another clean sheet against Forge FC last week, Irving looks to lead his team to another victory against Pacific FC tomorrow.
