Marion Blue Racers Join AIF

September 10, 2015 - American Indoor Football (AIF) News Release

Marion, Ohio September 10th, 2015 - Commissioner/CEO John Morris, of the AIF, would like to introduce its latest addition to the league, The Marion Blue Racers. The club is scheduled to play in the 2016 season.

"We are thrilled to welcome LaMonte Coleman and his staff to American Indoor Football," said AIF Commissioner/CEO John Morris. "We feel that LC will chart a course that will further elevate the sport in this great city and will, further our growth of being the premier indoor football league in the country."

The Blue Racers are led by CEO/GM LaMonte Coleman. The team is entering its 6th consecutive season. They play their home games in the historic Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Coleman, one of the most respected owners in the indoor football industry, is CEO of Run 42 Sports Group.

"I want to thank John Morris and the AIF front office staff for providing a stable home in the AIF for my Blue Racers and the devoted fans all around Marion and central Ohio for its sixth consecutive season." Stated Coleman, "I am pleasantly surprised of the successful teams we will be competing against this upcoming season. I am happy to see that the league is focused on the business aspects of keeping cost low as well as finding multiple streams of revenue for owners."
