Manchester Wolves Tryouts on Saturday January 31
MANCHESTER, NH-- The Manchester Wolves, who enjoyed their most successful season in franchise history in 2008 when the team made it all the way to the American Conference Championship of the arenafootball2 league, will hold an open tryout for players on Saturday, January 31st.
Head Coach Danton Barto and his staff will evaluate players on Saturday at the team's official practice facility, the Hampshire Dome, in Milford, NH. The pre-registration fee is $50 per player or $60 on the day of the tryout.
All players are required to be a minimum of 18 years of age and need to bring identification, along with a tee shirt, shorts, and athletic shoes (cleats are suggested). Registration is at 8 AM and the tryouts begin at 9 AM when players will be evaluated in the 40-yard dash, short shuttle, broad jump, and position specific drills. At 11 AM, kickers only will have the chance to prove their skills.

There will also be a second open tryout at the Hampshire Dome on Saturday, February 21st and the proceedure will be the same.
The Wolves open training camp on March 7th, 2009 and the first game of the season will be played on March 27th against the Pioneers in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Manchester's first home game will be on April 18th when the Pioneers invade the Verizon Wireless Arena and take on the Wolves on The Acting Loft Field.
