Barre, VT: The Manchester Millrats defeated the Vermont Frost Heaves 106-99 on the road in Barre, VT. The win is Manchester's second in a row against Vermont.
Desmond Ferguson's third straight three pointer late in the fourth quarter broke open what had been an 84-84 game. His one handed slam that followed sealed the win with a 101-89 lead with 1 minute remaining.
Ferguson led Manchester with 23 points, Lincoln Glass scored 15, Marlowe Currie 14, and Sam Carey added 14 points and 9 rebounds. John Williams led the Frost Heaves with 20.
Manchester's record improves to 2-2. They host the 3-1 Halifax Rainmen on Sunday at 2:30pm at Southern NH Hampshire University. Returning to the Fieldhouse with the Rainmen is former Millrat Rob Sanders.
