June 18, 2014 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - One day after releasing information about the team's youth lacrosse camp, the Colorado Mammoth announced on Wednesday that it will host a camp for boys' high school players who wish to learn at an elite level from the world's best. The dynamic high school camp, which will feature a 7:1 camper-to-instructor ratio and be held on July 21-22 at Cornerstone Park in Littleton, Colo., will educate attendees on techniques used by the pros.
"This is a truly unique opportunity for those players who want to have a future in the sport beyond high school," said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett.
With an emphasis on position-specific techniques and strategy, the camp is open to all athletes and is limited only by grade and number of participants. Registration is $249 per camper. Every registrant will receive two free 2015 Colorado Mammoth season tickets.
Registration information can be found online at ColoradoMammoth.com.
Lead camp instructors include two-time MVP John Grant Jr. and 2012 NLL Rookie of the Year Adam Jones. Both will play for Team Canada in the FIL World Lacrosse Championships in July at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo. prior to the camp.
