
Major League Lacrosse To Hold Supplemental Draft on December 14

BOSTON, MA - December 13, 2010 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, will hold the 2011 Supplemental Draft on Tuesday, December 14th, 2010, beginning at 1:00 PM ET, via conference call.
The Supplemental Draft will consist of 12 rounds with each team scheduled to make one selection per round. Teams will make their selections based on their 2010 record. The order for each round will be:
1) Toronto Nationals
2) Rochester Rattlers
3) Denver Outlaws
4) Boston Cannons
5) Long Island Lizards
6) Chesapeake Bayhawks
Each team will be given 3 minutes to make a selection. Going over the allotted time may result in a loss of a draft choice.
Players who are not currently on a team's 23-man protected roster and who have registered to enter the player pool will be eligible for selection.
Following the draft, each team to have a total of 35 players on their active roster. Any team ending the draft with less than 35 players will be allowed to select additional players after the final round to reach that mark.
Beginning on Thursday December 16th, at 9:00 AM ET, teams may begin to claim remaining players to fill out their 40-man active preseason roster.
