Major League Lacrosse Draft Set to Kickoff 2016 US Lacrosse National Convention

Boston, MA- The 2016 MLL Collegiate Draft presented by Cascade will take place Friday, January 22, 2016 from 8:30pm to 11:00pm in the Baltimore Hilton's Holiday Ballroom. This marks the 16th Collegiate Draft in the history of the MLL. The event will take place in conjunction with the 2016 US Lacrosse National Convention being held at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD. The draft is free and open to the public while space permits.
The Collegiate Draft will be streamed LIVE on Lax Sports Network beginning with a special announcement made by Commissioner David Gross at the start of the draft. During the draft, Cascade will unveil all of the new team and league helmets and Atlanta Blaze will unveil their new uniforms designed and created by New Balance.
During the first round of the draft, teams will have five minutes per selection. In rounds 2-5, teams will have three minutes per selection. In rounds 6-8, teams will have 2 minutes per selection.
