Machine Unveils All-Black Jerseys for July 26 Game

COLUMBUS, OHIO (July 15, 2014) - The Ohio Machine will be unveiling new, all-black uniforms for its upcoming game against the Denver Outlaws on Rotary Night on Saturday, July 26. This game marks the first time in club history the Machine hasn't worn Blue or White jerseys and will be the only time the Machine will sport the all-black jerseys this season.

Following the game, each Machine player will sign his game-worn jersey and all 19 player jerseys, and a team-signed jersey, will be auctioned online. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Rotary International's quest to end Polio. Together, the Machine and Rotary International will help to "˜blackout polio.'

"The Machine is proud to partner with Rotary International to support a great cause and help to eradicate polio," Ohio Machine President & General Manager John Algie said.

The online auction will run for 10 days beginning on Monday, July 28 at 3 p.m. EST and ending on August 7 at 3 p.m. EST. More information about the jersey auction can be found by visiting TheOhioMachine.com/BlackJerseys.

Rotary International has been committed to ending polio since 1979. Since then, Rotary International and its partners have reduced the cases of polio by 99 percent worldwide. Through donation and funds raised, Rotary International has helped immunize more the 2 billion children against polio in 122 countries.
