Ohio Machine News Release
COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio Machine have signed SSDM Carlson Milikin to a one-year contract.
A fourth-round pick for the Machine last year, Milikin appeared in three games for the Machine last season, finishing with three ground balls and one caused turnover. The All-ACC short stick defensive midfielder picked up 35 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers at Virginia, before transferring to Notre Dame. After recovering from a season-ending injury suffered in his first season in South Bend, Milikin came back to play in all 15 games for the Fighting Irish during the 2018 campaign. He went on to recover nine ground balls and force nine turnovers in as a Senior while refusing to give up a single turnover.
"We were excited to have Carlson dress for us in a few games last season to see how he adjusted to the professional game," Machine head coach Bear Davis said. "Having him return for another season adds another strong piece to our defense as we head into 2019."
Milikin, along with the entire 40-man Machine roster, will report for training camp this May.
