Ohio Machine News Release

COLUMBUS, OHIO (October 27, 2014) - The Ohio Machine, Ohio's Major League Lacrosse team, announced today that Gregg Klein has been promoted to Vice President of Business Operations. As part of the promotion, Klein will oversee the day-to-day running of the team's front office while continuing to lead the club's corporate sponsorship efforts. Klein joined the Machine in April, 2013 as the club's Director of Corporate Sponsorship.

"Gregg has showed an incredible commitment to building the Machine brand off the field and he is the perfect person to lead our business operations," Machine Vice President & Head Coach Bear Davis said. "I am confident that the leadership we have in place will build on the momentum our team built at the end of the 2014 season."

Since joining the Machine, Klein has grown the organization's corporate sponsorship base by more than 40 percent. In his new role as Vice President of Business Operations, Klein will continue to manage corporate sponsorships while also overseeing the club's marketing, operations and digital departments.

Prior to the Machine, Klein held a number of marketing and strategy roles at Nationwide Insurance. Klein previously was part of the corporate strategy team at Nationwide, but also focused on affinity sponsorship marketing. His time as marketing lead for Nationwide's business insurance product helped to develop an intimate understanding of how small businesses grow, market and manage financial needs. Early in his career, Klein built his own graphic design and marketing firm in Columbus, OH.

Klein is also active in a number of local charities and sits on the Delaware County Foundation Grant Committee. Klein graduated from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a B.S. of Industrial Design.

Season tickets for the Machine's 2015 season are now on sale and range from General Admission at $92 to a Field Level Box at $2,400 and include seven regular season home games plus a 2015 MLL playoff game. Information on 2015 season tickets can be found at www.theohiomachine.com/season-tickets or by calling 614-754-1973.
