Luca Mastrantonio Earns Team of the Week Honors

Defender Luca Mastrantonio earns USL League One Team of the Week honors for week nine after his impressive performance on Saturday in FC Tucson's 1-0 win on the road over South Georgia Tormenta SC.

Mastrantonio was a key component on defense with nine clearances, seven recoveries, five interceptions and a pair of blocked shots as the club earned its first shutout of the season. He also had a 86% passing accuracy, won all three duels and all three aerial duels attempted.

FC Tucson continues its two-game road trip as it travels to Wisconsin to play Forward Madison FC on Saturday. Brother John's Beer, Bourbon & BBQ will host its second consecutive watch party for fans.

The club returns home to host its Forever Proud match presented by COX Communications and Tucson Pride on June 11. The team welcomes defending league champions Union Omaha for the first time this season.
