MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Biscuits (70-58) lost a second-straight game to the last-place Chattanooga Lookouts (59-66) on Tuesday night at Riverwalk Stadium, this one by a score of 5-2. The loss, coupled with the Tennessee Smokies loss to the Jackson Generals, means the Biscuits lead in the Second Half North Division standings is still at four games.

The third game of the five-game set was scoreless until the third when Biscuits starter Blake Bivens (0-2) allowed three-consecutive singles to Jordan Gore, Jimmy Kerrigan, and Luke Raley. That brought the league leader in RBIs Brent Rooker to the plate, and the left fielder didn't miss, clubbing a grand slam-his second in the last 13 days-over the left-center field wall to put the Lookouts up, 4-0.

Dietrich Enns (3-5) on the other side flummoxed Biscuits hitters until the fifth when Montgomery pulled a run back on a Thomas Milone RBI-single. The base hit extended Milone's hitting streak to eight games, but the center fielder would be drilled in the head by a Sam Clay pitch in the seventh, and was forced to leave the game. Tuesday was the fourth-straight night in which a Biscuits player has had to exit the game with an injury (Mike Brosseau on Saturday; Nick Solak on Sunday; Curtis Taylor on Monday; Milone on Tuesday).

Gore would add an RBI-double in the sixth to make it a 5-1 game, and then a Brett Sullivan home run in the eighth made it 5-2. Sullivan hit the longball on the first pitch thrown by hometown Montgomery native and former Cleveland Indian, Austin Adams, his first pitch as a Chattanooga Lookout.

The Biscuits will try to rebound and force a rubber match on Wednesday when Benton Moss 6-5) clashes with Clark Beeker (NR) at 6:35 PM CT.

The current 10-game home stand includes Alabama State vs. Tuskegee Night on T-Shirt Thursday on August 23. The Tennessee Smokies come into the Capital City for Troy University and Community Night with MAX Fireworks on August 24. Alabama/Auburn Night, presented by 95.1 The Fox, and MAX Fireworks is on Saturday, August 25. AUM Night, featuring a 2019 Schedule Poster Giveaway, will be Sunday, August 26, and then the series concludes with Fan Appreciation Night on Tuesday, August 28.
