
Las Vegas Aces Sign Former NBA Player, Tony Farmer

Las Vegas, NV. After six seasons competing in France, Italy and the CBA and one year on the Miami Heat's injured list, Tony Farmer finally saw his first NBA action in 1997-98 as a member of the Charlotte Hornets. Waived by Charlotte, he failed to make the Golden State roster in 1998-99 but made the team the following season playing 74 games for the Warriors.
"We are pleased to announce that Tony Farmer will be a member of the Las Vegas Aces when we begin play in December," stated ABA Las Vegas owner Todd Tripplet. "We believe he will anchor a winning team and one that the city of Las Vegas will be proud." The Aces are gearing up for their inaugural season and will offer fans family-oriented, fan-friendly and affordable sports entertainment for all ages and incomes. This will be the first year in LVhe Aces, but no stranger to the town as owner Todd Triplett returns from Orlando.
