Las Vegas Aces Basketball Team Names General Manager

July 10, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Las Vegas Aces News Release

North Las Vegas, NV. Carl Dossenbach was named new General Manager of the ABA Las Vegas Aces as he and Todd Tripplet, owner of the team, came to an agreement over the 4th of July Independence Holiday weekend. Carl had formerly been retained by the Las Vegas Lights for their first season, but made the decision to move to the Aces via mutual consent.

With a strong background in sports marketing and management, Carl led the way for organization such as the Las Vegas Gladiators Arena Football Team in the capacity of Promotions Coordinator for their final years in LV. Prior to that, he held a position devoting many community hours while sitting on the LV Gladiators Board for Community Development for the 2004-05 seasons. Coming to LV in 2002 after reaching an agreement with the AAGT in Tampa FL, Dossenbach returned to his one true love, Golf, and became Director of the "Michelob ULTRA Amateur Golf Tour."

"As GM for the Aces, I would like to say thank you to the ABA for the opportunity to become an integral part of this exciting league. I would also like to thank Todd," stated Dossenbach. "More importantly, I am looking forward to working with the communities and fans in the great Las Vegas area."
