Lancers Take on Milwaukee Tonight

(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Lancers (3-8) will travel to take on the Milwaukee Wave (7-1) tonight at 7:00 p.m. at U.S. Cellular Arena. It will be the first meeting of the 2013-14 season between the two sides.
The Wave began the season by winning their first four matches of the season before dropping their lone match 15-6 to the Missouri Comets. They are currently riding a three-game winning streak. Forward Carlos Munoz is fourth in the league with 34 points and former Rochester outdoor pro Ian Bennett is close behind with 24 points.
Rochester will be looking for their first win of the season against a Milwaukee club that has not lost at home. The Lancers had a tough time of their previous two road matches losing at St. Louis in the final thirty seconds on Saturday, before losing the next day at Missouri in overtime. Buffalo native Gary Boughton leads Rochester with 24 points.
Following Saturday's match, the Lancers will return to action on Friday, January 17th when they host the Syracuse Silver Knights at the Blue Cross Arena atÃâà7 pm. Cellino & Barnes will donate $888 for every goal that Lancers #8 Elliot Fauske scores at home this year and Dunkin Donuts will donate a pound of coffee to Foodlink for every Lancers goal this season.
