Lancers Sign Former MLS Player

(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Lancers today announced the addition of former MLS and two-time MISL Champion, Edgar Bartolomeu to the roster.
The Angolan native brings veteran experience to a bulked up Lancers roster. He's played in nearly 150 professional indoor games, spending time with the Buffalo Blizzard and the Philadelphia Kixx. He led the Kixx to two MISL Championships and reached the playoffs every season he was with the team. Bartolomeu also played 18 games with the New York/New Jersey MetroStars, of the MLS.
Bartolomeu has also displayed his winning tradition in the USL Pro, winning a championship with the Long Island Rough Riders.
"We've spent a lot of time this offseason finding the right players to improve our roster and maintain the dynamics of our team," said Rich Randall, Vice President of the Lancers. "The excitement is growing with the addition of Edgar. He's a great guy and has a lot of experience and success in the league."
