Lancers Set To Kick-Off Historic First Home Match

Rochester Lancers News Release
(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Lancers will make their home debut on Saturday, November 12th when they welcome the Missouri Comets to the Blue Cross Arena. Rochester dropped its first match at Syracuse on Saturday 16-15 while the Comets earned a pair of wins against Wichita 16-14 at home on Thursday and 14-4 on the road Friday night. The match between the two teams is scheduled to kick-off at 1:00 p.m.
Rochester's Lubo Kocic led the way offensively on Saturday night and leads the team overall in scoring with seven points. Kocic tallied two goals and added a three-pointer in the match. In goal Leo Tillemont made 19 saves in his first start for Rochester. The Comets are led offensively by Geison who has six goals and 12 points in two starts while Vahid Assadpour ranks second with nine points this season. Former Rochester Rhino midfielder Neto has three points for the Comets.
Doors for the match open at 11:00 a.m. with pre-game entertainment provided by NexGeneration, a Penfield-based band, who will perform in the arena's atrium beginning at 11:30 a.m. Also scheduled to play is pianist Knuckles Sullivan in the Zweigle's Kids Zone at 11:30 a.m.
Individual game tickets are still available start at $10 for adults, and children age 12 and under receive free entry for every regular season home game. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Blue Cross Arena box office, at most area Ticketmaster locations including the House of Guitars, the Auditorium Theatre and many Walmart stores, online atwww.ticketmaster.comor by calling 1-800-745-3000 to charge by phone. $3.00 off ticket vouchers are available at all area Wegmans locations.
LANCERS TRAINING SESSION SET FOR BCA
The Lancers will train this Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Blue Cross Arena from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public will mark the first time the club has trained on its home field.
LANCERS AT THE DISTILLERY
The Rochester Lancers have announced that the Distillery, located at 1142 Mt. Hope Avenue, will host a Lancers Kick-off Party on Wednesday, November 9th from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. All Lancer players and coaches will be on hand and fans will also be able to purchase official team merchandise and tickets at the event.
