Lakeshore Chinooks and Wausau Woodchucks Game Preview 8/1

WAUSAU, Wi.- The Lakeshore Chinooks open the month of August with a crucial two-game set versus divisional opponent Wausau Woodchucks. With first pitch at 5:05 pm CDT at Athletic Park, Lakeshore enters today 2 1/2 games up on Wausau with eight games remaining. The magic number for a playoff berth for the Chinooks is at six games.

Max Mora will take the mound for the Chinooks, making his fifth start of the season. In his last start against Traverse City on July 28, Mora pitched four innings, allowing four runs.

Making his first start in the lineup since July 25, third basemen Casey Robinson is hitting ninth.
