Lacrosse Evolution 11th Annual Evolution Games This Weekend

If you're in the Philadelphia area this weekend be sure to stop by Lacrosse Evolution's 11th Annual Evolution Games to check out the future stars of the game. Taking place in Downingtown, Pa. the Lax Evo event is the marquee youth lacrosse tournament of the summer with several girls and boys teams starting at the U9 level all the way to varsity high school programs squaring off against each other.
The event takes place over two days at the United Sports Training Center and Downingtown Middle School from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 29 and from 8 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 30.
Several Lax Evo alumni went on to play in the MLL including 2013 All-Star Drew Adams, Bayhawks midfielder Matt Mackrides and Charlotte Hounds rookie Mason Poli.
Be sure to stop by the Major League Lacrosse table at the event to learn more about the MLL and about Championship Weekend, presented by Smartlink, which will take place in Philadelphia, Pa. August 24 and 25.
The 11th Annual Evolution Games is a High School, All Star recruiting & Youth lacrosse tournament taking place in Downingtown, Pa. Teams come from across the country: New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, California, Delaware, Ohio, Washington and Connecticut. Over 50 college coaches come out for this weekend to scout some of the best talent in the country. This is the best time to attend a tournament since college coaches use this time period more than any other.
This year they are featuring players who have participated in Lacrosse Evolution training and the Evolution Games that have gone on to play in the MLL. These players are also featured as coaches at their Girls & Boys New Jersey Shore Camps all summer long. Check out www.LacrosseEvolution.com for more information and to register.
