Killer Bees To Host Stars Viewing Party

Hidalgo, Texas --- Join the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees on Monday, May 12, at 6:30 p.m. for a viewing party of Game 3 of the NHL Western Conference Finals between the Dallas Stars and the Detroit Red Wings. The party takes place at The Grill and Bar at the Grove on 4001 S. Shary Road, Suite 100 (Sharyland Plantation, close to Military Highway).

Prior to the opening faceoff, the Killer Bees will host a live contract signing for the first member of the 2008-09 roster. The signing, in addition to a special edition KILLER BEES COACHES SHOW, will be carried live on ESPN Radio 1240 AM from 6-7 p.m.

The Stars advanced to the Western Conference Finals with a four-overtime victory over the San Jose Sharks last Sunday. This will be the first Conference Finals appearance for the Stars since 2000, a year after they won the franchise's only Stanley Cup.

Door Prizes will be given away all night including a Team Italy hockey stick, Travis Banga and Rob Voltera autographed hockey helmets, a children's entry into the Jason Cirone and Darren McCarty (Current Red Wing Player) Hockey Camp, plus the Grand Prize of 25 tickets inside the Party Suite for a 2008-2009 Killer Bees game for one Lucky Season Ticket Holder!
