The Chiefs only played one game this past week, visiting Dayton on Friday and coming away from the Gem City with a 2-1 shootout win.

Dmitri Tarabrin scored the Chiefs only goal in regulation time, putting the puck in the net at the 19:50 mark of the second period. Morgan Cey made 43-of-44 saves in regulation and overtime and stopped all five shooters in the shootout.

Great Performances:

Morgan Cey has now appeared in ten consecutive games for Johnstown, starting eight of them. In his past nine starts, Cey has faced 40-or-more shots on six occasions, 50-or-more shots on three occasions, and 60-or-more shots twice. Cey made 59 saves twice this season, at Toledo on December 23 in a 5-2 win, and at Gwinnett in a 4-3 shootout-loss on January 5. In his last nine starts, the Wilkie, Sask.-native has compiled a 4-3-2 record.
