JetHawks to Host Auditions to Sing National Anthem

(LANCASTER, CA) - You might not be a star on "American Idol", but you can showcase your singing talents by performing the National Anthem at a JetHawks game in 2007. The JetHawks will be holding open auditions Saturday, February 17 at Clear Channel Stadium.

The JetHawks encourage all manner of performers to audition. Past renditions have been conducted by singers, musicians, duets, groups, quartets, and even sign language. While no experience is necessary, those with experience should bring a resume list their past performance history. Singers must be prepared to sing a cappella while musicians must bring their own musical instrument and means of amplification.

Auditions will take place from 2 PM until 6 PM. Gates will open for registration at 1:30 PM. Contact John Adams or Melanie Hahn at (661) 726-5400 with questions.
