STOCKTON, Calif. - The JetHawks were swept for the first time in 2013 after a 13-7 loss to the Stockton Ports on Wednesday night at Banner Island Ballpark.

Lancaster belted four home runs in the game and allowed seven to the Ports. The 11 total home runs in the game tied a Cal League record set in 1962 when Bakersfield hit seven homers and Reno hit four.

Max Muncy set himself apart from the pack by hitting three home runs in his first three at-bats. Two of his homers came against JetHawks starter Brady Rodgers (5-2).

Rodgers, who entered the game without having allowed a run over his previous 15 innings, allowed a three-run homer to Muncy in the first inning.

He proceeded to retire the next eight hitters before hitting a wall with two outs in the third. Muncy hit a solo shot, Tony Thompson immediately followed with a homer, Antonio Lamas doubled, Rashun Dixon homered and Myrio Richard hit a double before Rodgers was removed from the game.

The right-hander allowed career-highs with eight runs and four home runs.

Tommy Shirley entered from the bullpen and gave up three straight hits including a two-run homer to B.A. Vollmuth before finally striking out Addison Russell to end the inning.

Lancaster scored a run on a Matt Duffy double in the first inning and then put up three when Delino DeShields hit a three-run home run in the second inning.

Telvin Nash, Duffy and Nolan Fontana all hit solo home runs later in the game but they never got closer than four runs.

Shirley gave up a home run to Muncy leading off the fourth inning, his third of the game. He finished 3-for-5 with five RBI.

Chris Devenski gave up a two-run homer to B.A. Vollmuth in the seventh inning to tie the record. Devenski, the tandem starter, allowd two runs on two hits over three innings. He struck out six batters.

Cameron Lamb, the newest addition to the bullpen, tossed a perfect eighth inning in his JetHawks debut.

Lancaster (35-24) saw its magic number shrink to seven with Inland Empire's loss on Wednesday. They head to San Jose to take on the Giants in the first game of a four game series on Thursday at 7:00 pm. The Ports (33-26) are now just two games behind the Giants in the North Division. Tyson Perez (2-3, 6.89) will go up against Clayton Blackburn (2-3, 4.61).
