LANCASTER, Calif. - The Lancaster JetHawks are preparing to kick off another exciting season of Minor League Baseball in the Antelope Valley beginning April 6, with a promotional schedule full of giveaways, fireworks shows, theme nights, and much more. Season tickets and Hawks Packs ticket packages are on sale now. Single game tickets for the 2017 season will go on sale online at jethawks.com at 5:00p.m. Sunday, March 12, and in person and over the phone on Wednesday, March 15.
"There is so much to celebrate in 2017, including our new affiliation with the Colorado Rockies," said JetHawks Executive Vice President Tom Backemeyer. "Fans will see fun new giveaways and promotions, as well as the return of family favorites, and of course staples such as Friday Night Fireworks at The Hangar."
The JetHawks kick off the 2017 season at home on April 6, when they host the Visalia Rawhide at 6:35 p.m. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Rockies-themed JetHawks Cap. Fans will have a chance to complete their JetHawks-Rockies wardrobe on July 22, when the first 1,000 fans receive a Rockies-themed JetHawks Jersey.
Other notable giveaways include a Henley Hoodie Giveaway on April 29, a Tote Bag Giveaway on June 10, a JetHawks Travel Coffee Mug on July 29, and a JetHawks Batting Practice Jersey on August 12. All giveaways are for the first 1,000 fans through the gates unless otherwise noted.
Fan favorite promotions returning to The Hangar include Star Wars Weekend (June 23 & 24), which will feature a Star Wars-themed fireworks show on the Friday and a galactic baseball cap giveaway on the Saturday, two Princess & Pirates Nights (June 9 & September 1), both complete with visiting Princess photo opportunities and magical post-game firework shows. Bark in the Park also returns (June 13 & August 22), when fans can bring their dogs into the ballpark to enjoy the game, in addition to Summer Halloween (July 21), when fans are encouraged to dress up and kids 12 & under can trick-or-treat in the concourse before the game.
The JetHawks are excited to announce a brand new community partnership on Mondays, as we celebrate our local first responders. Every Monday will now be Local Heroes Nights and all local First Responders will receive 2-for-1 tickets. Additionally, $1 from every Local Heroes ticket purchased will go to the Antelope Valley Fallen Heroes Fund. Other weekly promotions include Military Sundays, when all military receive 2-for-1 tickets, 2-For-1 Tuesdays, when fans can snag 2-for-1 tickets in any section, Family Wednesdays, when for $50 fans receive 4 tickets, 4 sodas, 4 hot dogs, plus two admissions to DryTown Water Park in Palmdale, and Thirsty Thursdays with $2 Drink Specials.
