JetHawks Promote 2010 Season With Mall Kiosk

(LANCASTER, CA) - In an effort to promote the upcoming 2010 season, the Lancaster JetHawks unveiled a kiosk in the Antelope Valley Mall's Center Court featuring tickets, merchandise and promotional information. This will be the first time the JetHawks have occupied a mall kiosk since their inaugural season in 1996.
"We're excited to see some of our great fans before the season starts as they do their spring shopping," said JetHawks Vice-President and General Manager Larry Thornhill. "The kiosk allows us to distribute information about our upcoming season to Antelope Valley residents seven days a week from a permanent location at the mall."
The kiosk will run through April 18 and will be open from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sundays. Fans can purchase ticket vouchers for the JetHawks' Opening Day contest against Lake Elsinore on Mon. April 12, which is the first of nine Feed Your Face Mondays at Clear Channel Stadium in 2010.
In addition to the ticket vouchers, the kiosk will also feature selected JetHawks merchandise available for purchase and information on 2010's celebration of 15 years of Hangar Heroes.
The 2010 season marks the 15th anniversary of professional baseball in the Antelope Valley, and since its inaugural game in 1996, The Hangar has produced more than 90 Major Leaguers and inducted 25 members into The JetHawks Hall of Fame.
