JetHawks Lose 12-8, Series Even

(Lancaster, CA) - The JetHawks dropped a 12-8 decision to the Modesto A's to even the California League Championship Series at two wins a piece.
Jason Perry hit a pair of home runs for the A's, and drove in a total of four runs in the game. Every A's starter had at least one hit, and Perry finished with a game high five hits for Modesto.
Modesto finished with a total of 21 hits in the game, which is a franchise high for hits allowed in a post-season game for the JetHawks.
The JetHawks were led by Jay Garthwaite, who blasted a two-run home run in the eighth inning, and earlier in the game had driven in two other runs with a double. Garthwaite now has driven in seven runs in the post-season
Jon Zeringue also had two hits for Lancaster to extend his season high hitting streak to 15 straight games, and he also collected his minor league leading 12th RBI in the post season.
The fifth and final game of the series is Monday night at The Hangar. Adam Bass will make the start for the JetHawks. The A's will send right-hander Jared Burton to the mound in the 6:30 p.m. game.
