January 8th set for second Hawgs tryout

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Running backs, linebackers, defensive backs and kickers will be the focus of the Daytona Beach Hawgs' second tryout on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at Municipal Stadium, 3777 LPGA Blvd. in Daytona Beach.
Head Coach Ervin Bryson and Director of Player Personnel Bill Gahagan will be on hand to evaluate the talent.
"I'm taking a hard look at filling some needs at some positions,'' Bryson said. "But if you have the skills, you'll get the look regardless. I truly believe there is still some talent in the area waiting to be discovered."
The cost to participate is $45 for first-time applicants with a 50 percent discount for those who tried out on November 21.Players are asked to bring appropriate foot wear as all other equipment will be provided.
Twenty-five players were signed at the first workout.
