Jacksonville Bullies Suspend Operations

New York, NY - The Professional Lacrosse League (PLL) has announced that the Jacksonville Bullies are suspending operations for the remainder of the 2012 season, effective immediately. Due to unforeseen business concerns, the Jacksonville Bullies will forgo the remainder of the season in an effort to reorganize and build a solid base for the 2013 season.

"It is very unfortunate that this needs to take place," said Bullies owner Chris Milo. "We believe that this is in the best interest of our organization and its future in the PLL."

The Charlotte Copperheads and Reading Rockets are continuing their regularly scheduled PLL games. The next game on the PLL schedule features the Copperheads hosting the Rockets on November 3rd in a rematch of last week's contest in the Bojangles Coliseum.

"It's never a good thing to see teams struggle, but on behalf of the PLL Board of Governors, we look to move forward and build a positive future for our league and its current and potential member clubs," added Graham D'Alvia, the Chairman of the Board of Governors.
