Boston, MA - The Isobel Cup, the championship trophy of the National Women's Hockey League, will travel the country this offseason with players from the 2015-16 Boston Pride team.

The Cup began its journey with a trip to Anchorage, AK, with Zoe Hickel and other members of the US National Team for a local showcase and youth clinic from June 7-10th. It then traveled to Sun Valley, ID, with Hilary Knight before returning to Boston, MA.

The Isobel Cup is also currently scheduled to travel to Warroad, MN, with Gigi Marvin in early July, and to Raleigh, NC, with Alyssa Gagliardi in late July for a youth hockey event.

The Cup received its name from Lord Frederick Arthur Stanley's daughter, Isobel, who shared his love of the game. The sterling silver Cup stands at 25 1/2" tall, 12" wide, and weighs 15 pounds.

Media and fans can track the travels of the Isobel Cup this summer on Twitter by following @TheIsobelCup and using the hashtag #WheresIsobel.
