Published on March 21, 2023 under Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) News Release

BOSTON, MA - - The Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) Isobel Cup Championship matchup is set and will feature the Toronto Six and the Minnesota Whitecaps on Sunday, March 26 at 9:00 p.m. ET live on ESPN2 and TSN5. The final is hosted in partnership with the NHL's Arizona Coyotes and OVG360 at Mullett Arena on the campus of Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.

Toronto's Elaine Chuli stopped all 31 shots faced in a 3-0 shutout victory over the Connecticut Whale on Monday night in game three of the playoff semifinal series. Michela Cava, Leah Lum, and Kati Tabin all scored. This will be the first championship appearance in T6 franchise history, and the first time in PHF history that a Canadian team will play for the Isobel Cup.

Minnesota secured their spot in the final by eliminating the two-time defending champion Boston Pride on Saturday night. The Whitecaps are championship finalists for the fourth time in five years and hoisted the Isobel Cup in their expansion 2018-19 season.
