Penn FC News Release

This Saturday the Islanders return to regular-season play as they take on the Real Maryland Monarchs at 7:05pm at home on City Island. Currently in first place in the USL-Second Division with a record of 6-2-1 (19 points), the Islanders and hope to earn 3 more points with a win on Saturday to cement their position at the top of the USL-2. The Islanders have yet to loose a regular season match at home, and hope that this Saturday will be no exception.

The Islanders' opponent, Real Maryland (5-4-1, 15 points) are currently in third place behind the Islanders and the Richmond Kickers. The Monarchs were upset on Tuesday by the Premier Development League's Ocean City Barons in the second round of the U.S. Open Cup. So, the Monarchs will certainly be hungry for a win after a disappointing loss.

With weather predicted to be in the 80s it will be a tropical night on the Island, so bring your family and friends down for a fun night with great soccer, an exciting atmosphere and an S&T Insulation and Spouting mug give away! Don't forget to bring your kids to Tiki's Cove--a kids activity center featuring poster making and face painting! Tiki Mon and your Harrisburg City Islanders hope to see you on the Island this Saturday for our 7:05 kickoff. See you on the Island!
