
Ironmen struggles continue

BALTIMORE, MD - The New Jersey Ironmen (10-10) dropped their fifth straight loss tonight to the Baltimore Blast (13-8) at 1st Mariner Arena. New Jersey goalkeeper Le made his first MISL start in net for the Ironmen, and midfielder Juninho da Silva led the New Jersey scorers with a pair of two-point goals. The second Juninho tally was assisted by Goran Vasic, the 225th helper of the Serbian's illustrious career.
The Ironmen return home to Prudential Center on Thursday, February 21st, for their inaugural "Healthy Kids Day". New Jersey will host the California Cougars at Prudential Center in a day surrounded by educational programming relative to fitness and nutrition, and Newark Mayor Cory A. Booker will be serving as the club honorary captain.
