New Jersey Ironmen News Release
Newark, N.J. (Tuesday, January 27, 2009) - The New Jersey Ironmen announced today that they are partnering with the New York Titans of the National Lacrosse League for a pair of dates at Prudential Center. The two teams will play two doubleheaders in the upcoming months, and they have created a special offer to all soccer and lacrosse fans.
On Sunday, February 8th, and Saturday, April 4th, fans will be able to receive lower level tickets to see both the Ironmen and Titans play home contests at Prudential Center for only $20. Ironmen tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-IRONMEN, and fans that take their Ironmen ticket stub to the box office on February 8th or April 4th will be given the special $10 rate for the Titans game that is played that evening.
On Sunday, February 8th, the busy day at Prudential Center gets started when the Ironmen host the Chicago Storm at 1:00 p.m. and then the Titans welcome in the Philadelphia Wings at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 4th, first sees the Ironmen kick off against the Milwaukee Wave at 1:00 p.m. followed by the Titans hosting the Wings at 7:30 p.m.
The New York Titans began playing in the NLL in 2007 and finished last season with a 10-6 record, which was good enough to be tied for the best win-loss tally in the league. Captained by Syracuse graduate Casey Powell, the Titans play a split of their home contests between Prudential Center and Madison Square Garden.
