New Jersey Ironmen News Release

Newark, N.J. (Tuesday, October 14, 2008) - The New Jersey Ironmen Dancers are looking to gain positive traction within the community, making a pair of public appearances in this weekend. The dancers are scheduled to make an appearance this Saturday at Bloomingdale's in Bridgewater Commons Mall before supporting a Sunday "Combs for a Cure" breast cancer awareness event at Pink Comb Salon in Nutley.

The Ironmen Dancers will get the weekend started in Bridgewater when they help to launch a new fragrance by entertainer Gwen Stefani. They are scheduled to make three performances at Bloomingdale's, the first coming at 1:20 p.m. and the latter two at 1:40 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Following the last rendition, the dancers will conduct an autograph session.

"We are very excited to have the Ironmen Dancers performing at Bloomingdale's to launch this new fragrance," Jacqueline Ritchie, Director of Ironmen Dancers, commented. "We have a fun performance planned, so hopefully everyone can come and check it out!"

This Sunday, the dancers will head to the Pink Comb Salon in Nutley, which is the preferred salon of the Ironmen Dancers. Working together with the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation, Brides Against Breast Cancer and the Pink Envelope Project, Pink Comb is conducting a fundraising event to benefit breast cancer awareness and research. From 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., all proceeds from hair cuts, pink hair extensions and nail polish changes will benefit the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation through the Pink Envelope Project.

"We are very pleased with the Ironmen Dancers' partnership with Pink Comb Salon," Ritchie said. "We are thrilled to participate in such a wonderful event in support of breast cancer awareness, and we hope everyone will come out and support the cause."

The New Jersey Ironmen will make their 2007-08 season debut at Prudential Center on Sunday, December 14th, opening up their sophomore campaign at 4:00 p.m. against the Chicago Storm.
