New Jersey Ironmen News Release

Newark, N.J. (Tuesday, September 30, 2008) - The New Jersey Ironmen today announced a partnership with Pink Comb Salon, which will be the preferred salon of the Ironmen Dance Team. This declaration comes just days after the second-year club formally announced their 2008-09 season opener against the Chicago Storm on December 14th.

"Pink Comb Salon is proud of our partnership with the New Jersey Ironmen Dance Team," owner Michelle Lo Conte stated. "The ability to tend to the beauty needs of the dancers will surely be a rewarding experience all around. We're just as excited as the girls!"

Lo Conte is a licensed cosmetologist with a Journalism Degree from St. John's University. She focuses her salon, which is located in Nutley Township, on the "pampered experience" that one experiences on her wedding day. Before she opened up the Pink Comb Salon, she originally displayed her entrepreneurial spirit by placing an ad on Craig's List. Brides-to-be soon started answering her ad, and she began providing onsite hair and makeup services for those brides and their bridesmaids. Her reputation began to spread around the tri-state area, and all of her work led to the opening of her own salon.

The New Jersey Ironmen staff will be playing against the Jackson Police Department this Friday evening (October 3) at the Jackson Justice Complex. Following a boy's soccer match between sides from Jackson and Lacey Township at 7:00 PM, the maroon and mandarin will hit the field to face the men in blue. Admission to the exhibition will be free, and the focus of the night is as an alcohol/drug/violence-free event.

Ironmen season and group tickets are available now. Reserve your tickets today by calling 1-800-IRONMEN!
