
International Basketball League Championship Tournament in Portland This Weekend

Something fun to attend- tomorrow (Thursday), Friday & Saturday- The International Basketball League 2010 championship tournament- is here in Portland- at Warner Pacific College (68th & Division)
Thursday night (July 1st), Friday (all day) and Saturday night- $10 admission ($3 for 17 & under) gets you into all games per day
THURSDAY- there will be 2 games: the 6pm game features our home team- the Oregon Waves (David Lucas, Jeremiah Dominguez, JS Nash, Isaiah Fox and Robert Day) in the first round of the playoffs versus the Yamhill Highflyers. At 8:30pm on the same night, the Battle Creek Knights (Michigan) will play against the Tacoma Tide.
FRIDAY- there are 4 more tournament games featuring teams such as the Los Angeles Lightning who have 5 ex-NBA players on thier team. Also on Friday, you can see the Albany Legends (New York) and six other teams including the talented Vancouver Volcanoes who feature some of the best players from all over America. The 4 Friday games are at 1:00pm, 3:30pm, 6:00pm and 8:30pm. Note for Vancouver Volcanoes fans- your team plays at 8:30pm; however, show up early as your entry fee covers you for all games that day and in fact, before your game- the Los Angeles Lightning will be playing the 6:00pm game- a very exciting team to watch.
SATURDAY- there are 2 games that run at 2:00pm and 4:30pm (these 2 Saturday games form- the final 4- of the 16-team IBL) (the Saturday winners play 2 weeks later for the overall title)
