Inside the MLL debuts as 2008 season begins

Boston, MA (May 16, 2008) -Inside the MLL, a brand new 30-minute studio show about all things Major League Lacrosse (MLL), debuts its first episode this week. The premiere episode is a season preview, as the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league opens its eighth season this weekend.
This one of a kind lacrosse show will bring you inside the world of the sport's most popular players. You will see behind the scenes footage and get insider access to the personalities that comprise the MLL.
Hosted by Jason Chandler, and featuring reporters Julie Wetherbee and Jillian Nathan, this week's show includes a feature on the Philadelphia Barrage, two-time defending MLL Champions, who will play the entire 2008 season as a travel team. The show also includes a profile of Boston Cannons superstar and rock 'n roller Mikey Powell, and a trip around the country to various MLL training camps. The premiere episode also has a look back at the 2007 MLL Award winners and plays of the year, the key dates on the league calendar, and "Gimme 60" segments with Long Island Lizards star Nicky Polanco and Kevin Leveille of the Chicago Machine.
In addition to the full 30-minute studio show for television, Inside the MLL will also be featured in 9-minute webisodes posted on Lax United each week. Ten team specific webisodes will contain features, highlights, recaps and interviews.
The premiere episode of Inside the MLL is already available online on ESPN.com. It will also be made available on LaxUnited.com. On television, the show has been picked up by nine cable television systems so far, CN8 (full network Maine to Virginia), Cox Sports Rhode Island, Time Warner Buffalo, Time Warner Rochester, Time Warner Syracuse, Time Warner Albany, Cox Communications Orange County (CA), and Cox Sports New Orleans.
